The idea of the Zodiac Lip Tint came about when I was thinking about making a Lunar New Year themed cosmetic bottle. Since the Lunar New Year welcomes a different Chinese Zodiac animal each year, I thought it would be interesting to create a full collection with the full 12 animals each representing a different shade of red for the lip tint.
The collection should be 12 different shades of red because it's the main color used during the Lunar New Year since it is used to welcome the coming year with happiness, beauty, vitality, good luck, success, good fortune and more.
As for the design of the bottle itself, I thought of how difficult it was for me to distinguish between each make-up bottle when I was in a hurry.
